About

Built for Life's Turning Points
Cry a river. Build a bridge. Cross over it. That phrase isn’t just a metaphor — it’s a map. And it’s the heartbeat of everything we do at Bridge Forward Coaching.
I’m Kay Hart, founder of Bridge Forward Coaching and a long-time strategist, public servant, and resilience coach. After decades spent helping public sector leaders tackle complex systems challenges — and navigating more than a few personal upheavals of my own — I created this space for people who are ready to move forward, but unsure how.
Whether it’s the sting of betrayal, the disorientation of a career shift, the ache of grief, or the quiet questioning of who you are now, Bridge Forward Coaching is here to walk with you as you figure out what’s next.
My Background
Professionally, I’ve spent the last two decades serving at the intersection of strategy, public service, and change. I’ve led large-scale transformation efforts in Texas state government, worked for major change and transformation consulting firms as a partner and advisor to state and local government leaders and earned certifications in change management and life coaching.
But none of that matters more than this: I know what it means to build a bridge out of lived experience — not just strategy decks.
Who I Work With
My coaching clients are often leaders, caregivers, transition navigators, or survivors of betrayal. They are often smart, capable, and deeply tired. They don’t need to be fixed — they just need to be witnessed, supported, and equipped to take their next brave step.
What Makes This Different
This isn’t therapy. This isn’t life advice. This is coaching grounded in truth, clarity, and grit — tailored for people walking through real-life transitions with real-world stakes.
Together, we’ll name what’s real, discern what matters, and build a path forward.
